Cross-Country Skiing!

Mom, Aaron, and Arianna came and visited Vanessa, Andrew & Candace in Provo!!  We rented cross-country skiis from BYU and went up the Alpine loop for a little bit - so much fun!  Poor Vanessa accidentally got given downhill skis instead of cross-country skis and just couldn't keep up (wonder why... lol), but we finally figured out the problem and Candace and Vanessa each took a bad ski and made it okay from there.  Loved this trip!!

Vanessa's First Birthday!

A birthday celebration for Vanessa - in warm Hawaii!!  This was on our back porch of the townhome we lived in, with one of mom's famous cat cakes - complete with licorice whiskers! :)  

Backyard Easter Egg Hunt

Dad and mom always did a great job hiding the dyed eggs in the backyard - so great, in fact, that one year we later found a rotten egg!  The hunts were fun, though, and the weather was gorgeous.  Look, they even did my hair! :)  (Candace & Chad - I'm guessing I was almost 4, and he was almost 6?)
